FMI Mission Fields
THE GREAT COMMISSION Christ commanded us to go and teach all the nations (ethnic groups), baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
We therefore have the mandate to go to all the tribes that the Lord is asking us to reach out to- the Mandigos (Guinea Bissau), The Ewes and Konkombas (Ghana); the Bokos, Bokobarus, the Ijaw Apois, Bassanges, Zarmas, Larus, (in Nigeria). Each Part does its work Paul, the Apostle infers that the body of Christ should grow up and be strong. There is also a need for each part of the body, you and me to do our God given work. Sometimes instead of participating, we become spectators and we also lead the church in such a way that large parts are spectators. Pastoral Care for Missionaries The fact that missionaries go to unreached places where people have no access to electricity, good drinking water, no motorable roads, or clinics and lack of means of production. They are exposed to suffering, violence, ill health, possible fatal accidents, and even death from persecution. What can we do for Missionaries when they are going to the field.
What can we do for Missionaries in times of persecution or cushion their emotional hurts from the battles in the field, or evacuate people in danger from high risk areas of ministry.
Can we expect supernatural help in times of bandit attacks, religious violence. All these we need to consider in caring and praying for our Missionaries
