FMI help children who ran away from their families and live alone on the streets and children who spend most of their time on the streets, fending for themselves, but returning home on a regular basis.
We see this as a growing problem in poor countries such as where we have mission locations. Street children are among the most vulnerable and excluded in society.
They are continually at risk from drug abuse, malnutrition, sexual assault and exploitation and becoming engaged in hazardous labor including commercial sex work.
FMI goal is to reach out to the children living and working on the street by protecting them from violence and abuse, providing them with an opportunity to gain education, life skills, work skills and dignity in a Christian environment.
With your generous support we can continue helping this street children and youths to grow up to be healthy, educated individuals who give back to their communities.
